Nedan följer en kort presentation om Femmes Vignes Rhone
The association of Femmes Vignes Rhone (Women Winemakers of the Rhone Valley) was born in 2004 and has 30 members. It was created in 2004 by Anne Hughes, a winegrower in the Luberon at Domaine de la Royère, and Inter-Rhone.
Winegrowers, makers or working in the wine business in the Rhone Valley, the Femmes Vignes Rhone aim to promote the role of women in the traditionally masculine environment of wine. Present at numerous events for both professionals and the general public, in France and abroad, the Femmes Vignes Rhone develop the knowledge and distribution of the RhoneValley appellations, cultivating a simple and friendly approach to wine.
Femmes Vignes Rhone members cover many fields of wine-related professions including wine growers/makers, enologists, sommeliers, wine merchants, sales, marketing and public relations specialists, and journalists.
The association represents the appellations Cotes du Rhone, Cotes du Rhone Villages, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Visan, Vacqueyras, Gigondas, Beaumes de Venise, Coteaux du Tricastin, Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, Cornas, Cotes du Ventoux, Cotes du Luberon et Costières de Nimes and many more
The FVR association is full of energy, willing and good humor, and grouping women of many different outlooks, nationalities, and ages. This rich diversity allows for open, constructive and useful exchanges, where all members of the group can benefit from their common experiences.
The main objectives for the group are to:

– To reinforce the role of female wine growers in this traditionally masculine environment
– To be recognized by both professionals and the general public

To simplify the approach to wine for the general public
