A seamless, beautiful construct.
Lovely, lively acidity adding nerve to this beauty.
First glass tonight, revisiting and letting it rest under cork for a few months.
Hopefully it will broaden and add complexity.

Deep red with slight bricking.
Remarkably Plain Jane on the nose.
Has Port Ruby youthful fruit in combination with some age.
Even if decidedly delicious, it doesn't (yet?) qualify as a 1959 Rivesaltes.
Will see what happens during the months of its consumption.

My general complaint with Graham's Vintage Port is the sweetness. This LBV has no such problem.
Out of the BTL, feels disjointed and dislocated.
Had a little too warm. Holding hopes that it gets its shit together in the up and coming months.

Not a great wine, but has the qualities that only a mature wine displays. From before barcodes.
Had it too warm.
Cloying sweetness.
Next month will try it a little cooler.
Probably great with blue cheese.

Rich, deep aromatics of rounded botrytis, caramel, compote, whiff of oloroso and absolutely nothing terrible nor old.
In the mouth, all these aromas are multiplied and the formidable acidity carries this (nowadays) semi-dry wine effortlessly...
100 points needs only a bit more complexity. This is one of the most profound Sauternes I have ever enjoyed. Perfectly balanced!

Lite syrlig till en början men efter en 1 h luftning så plana det ut. Smak av röda bär, jord och Ek. Relativt strävt vin får en 4 av 5
